Art II is a one-semester elective course that explores drawing and painting media in depth. Students learn about these important media through hands-on studio work, live demonstrations, and examination of famous works from Art History. Emphasis is placed on determining those qualities that make a particular work of art successful whether it is a landscape, still life, figure, or abstract.
